Lucy Rice is a visual artist residing in North Auckland, New Zealand.
Rice’s practice explores gestural layering of acrylics and oil sticks. This technique supports her in creating rich, expressive textures and forms — fostering a dynamic, soul-led, emotional presence. Rice draws inspiration from the breathtaking landscapes surrounding her; each work is infused with the essence of the sea, land and sky.
